These terms cover your use of cognardo.com and the free resources we publish here. By using the site or downloading a resource, you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

Cognardo Workbench is a separate application with its own terms. See section 7.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Cognardo, established in India. You can reach us at contact@cognardo.com.

2. Using this website

You are welcome to read, download, and use what we publish. Please do not:

• use the site in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone’s rights;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, our systems, or anyone’s data;
• scrape, copy, or republish the site at scale, or use it to build a competing collection of resources;
• interfere with the site’s operation, or bypass the spam protection on our forms;
• submit anything through our forms that is unlawful, abusive, or deliberately misleading.

3. The free resources

Our prompt packs, workflow kits, templates, and checklists are free. You give us an email address, we send you the file.

What you may do. Use them in your own work, including commercial work, and for clients. Edit and adapt them to suit how you work. Share them inside your own team or organisation.

What you may not do. Sell them, or sell a lightly edited version. Republish or redistribute them publicly as your own work, or as a lead magnet of your own. Remove our attribution and present the material as though you wrote it.

In short: use them for real work as much as you like, but the resources themselves stay ours to publish.

4. Our content

The articles, guides, resources, design, and the Cognardo name and logo belong to us or to our contributors. You may quote or reference our writing with clear credit and a link. You may not reproduce substantial parts of it elsewhere without our permission.

5. Emails

When you request a resource or subscribe, we may email you occasionally about new resources, guides, and Cognardo news, and sometimes to ask what you thought. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never costs you access to anything you already downloaded. How we handle your email address is set out in our Privacy Policy.

6. Judgement is still yours

Everything here is practical guidance, not professional advice. We write about working with AI, and AI output can be confidently wrong — that is rather the reason several of these resources exist. Our prompts, workflows, and templates are starting points that still need your judgement and, where it matters, your verification.

You remain responsible for what you publish, send, or act on. Nothing here is legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice, and you should not treat it as a substitute for it.

7. Cognardo Workbench

Cognardo Workbench is a separate application with its own terms of service and privacy policy, which govern your use of it rather than these terms. You can read them at workbench.cognardo.com/legal.

8. Other people’s sites

We link to third-party websites and tools. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the site up and the resources available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, move, or withdraw any part of the site, including individual resources, without notice.

10. Liability

The site and its resources are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for loss arising from your use of the site or the resources, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
